Weatherby Healthcare, a CHG Company, today announced plans to invest more than $7 million and create 148 new jobs in Raleigh. With this expansion, the company will add a new business unit to its North Carolina location while retaining 374 employees in the market.

Weatherby Healthcare is an industry leader in healthcare staffing solutions, helping healthcare facilities fill talent gaps and cover hard-to-fill specialties.

Raleigh was chosen for this expansion due to its strong talent pipeline and ability to attract the technical talent needed to fill new jobs.

“Weatherby Healthcare has had a long-standing presence in North Carolina and we are excited about the company's decision to expand and grow in Raleigh,” said Mayor Mary Ann Baldwin. “In addition to providing turnkey office space, we have a skilled workforce to support Wetherby in creating new technology jobs.”

Weatherby Healthcare will occupy 46,000 square feet at One North Hills Tower. The investment is the latest success in office real estate in Raleigh, following announcements by Jewelers Mutual Group, JT International and Audemars Piguet.

“We are proud to welcome Weatherbee Healthcare and its talented team to Wake County,” said Wake County Commission Chairwoman Sinica Thomas. “This is our 40th economic development announcement in the last five years, bringing the total number of jobs created to more than 11,000 and proving that Wake County is a place businesses want to be.”
