PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A 63-year-old woman was sent to the hospital after a fire broke out at a home in Port Arthur.

The fire broke out at a home in the 2800 block of 90th Street just after 3 p.m., according to Port Arthur Interim Deputy Fire Chief Antonio Mitchell.

The woman was bedridden and downstairs in the living room, Mitchell said.
