In addition to providing detailed information on the appropriate courses to take to align with your high school and educational requirements, we also constantly update information on internships, mentorships, and training.

This website is the result of a 2021 initiative by the MMA called the “Barriers to Workforce Diversity in Physician Education, Training, and Licensing” Task Force. This group was established to develop recommendations to make health care careers accessible to all, including underrepresented groups.
Although this may include specific races and ethnicities, the physician shortage also affects small and medium-sized cities more than metropolitan areas. One of the goals of St. Cloud's new medical school is to fill that gap.
