United For Healthy Starts aims to increase access to services to improve family social, economic and overall health outcomes. Through this new grant, the initiative is designed to help families build a strong, healthy start through home visits and wraparound services tailored to the needs of each supported family. United for Healthy Start also works to help create new non-profit partnerships with the aim of enhancing service delivery and innovation and achieving scalable impact beyond grants by establishing cooperative learning communities across the country.
“We're looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Christine Benero, president and CEO of Mile High United Way. “Through United for a Healthy Start, HCA Healthcare and the HCA Healthcare Foundation are making a real bet for mothers and young children, especially those facing barriers to healthy outcomes.
