HCCA’s Healthcare Privacy Compliance Academy is a 3.5-day interactive educational program focused on the vast array of privacy laws and regulations that help protect PHI and other sensitive data. Our team of experienced, expert instructors will provide guidance and insight on a variety of topics, including ongoing challenges, new developments, policy changes, and regulatory updates.
Academy participants can expect a hands-on approach to learning with an emphasis on small group discussions and problem-solving exercises, designed to help participants build the confidence to apply key concepts to real-world situations.
Participants will receive all live Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® Continuing Education Units (CEUs) needed to sit for the optional Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC®) exam on the final day of the event. A separate application and fee is required to complete the eligibility requirements.
As a follow-up resource for ongoing support, all participants will receive one year of complimentary online access to the Medical Privacy Compliance Handbook (a $225 value).
