It is very important for health care to comply with infection prevention and control (IPC) standards. African studies show various levels of understanding and acceptance of IPC practice. Sandra A. Darfor Oduro, an assistant professor of public health research, is a compliance that evaluates the knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of medical workers (HCWS) in cooperation with the co -workers of the Gambia Health, Ganbia University, and Ghana University. , A factor that affects the recognized IPC compliance between HCW in the east coast of Gambia.

The author has adopted analytical crossing research and used multiple sampling methods to register 218 medical professionals in research. The HCWs included in this study were doctors, nurses, public health representatives, laboratory staff, order, dental staff, physiotherapists, anesthesians, and laundry workers.

The authors have discovered that the level of knowledge about IPC has a high level of knowledge, but has discovered that HCWS's compliance with IPC is low. HCWS's good attitude, accessibility of personal protective equipment, and IPC practice monitoring were independently related to HCWS's compliance with IPC standards.

The author prioritizes educational campaigns, regular training to strengthen HCW knowledge, ensures personal protective equipment (PPE) accessibility, and implements continuous IPC practice monitoring among healthcare professionals. I recommend that.
