Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana) on November 21 will require the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to collaborate on improving cybersecurity in healthcare across the country. Sen. Cassidy joined forces with three original co-sponsors, including Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), as part of the Senate's bipartisan Healthcare Cybersecurity Task Force, which was launched last year. Sponsored the Cybersecurity and Resilience Act (S. 5390).

If passed, S.5390 would provide grants to health agencies to improve cyberattack prevention and response and provide training on cybersecurity best practices to health agencies, according to a bill summary submitted by lawmakers. I will do it.
