A man accused of attempting to murder a nurse last month has made his second appearance in court. The defendant, 37-year-old Romon Haque, of Yasmin Gardens, Royton, Oldham, appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court today for a pre-trial preparation hearing. NHS staff delivered a record 18 million treatments in 2024, as the waiting list fell in December for the fourth month in a row.
