Woman dies in hospital after Louisville house fire

PRP Firefighters responded to Stephen Drive around 3 a.m. Monday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The identity of the woman killed in a house fire in Valley Station early Monday morning has been released.

The woman was identified as Teri Reynolds, according to LMPD sources.

They confirmed that Reynolds volunteered on the 3rd Division Advisory Board and was heavily involved with the FOP.

PRP fire crews were called to a home on Stephen Drive around 3 a.m.


Firefighters rescued Reynolds from the home, but she later died at a hospital.

A firefighter was also treated for minor burns to his arm.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
