Valir Pace wins the cherry blossom pace
Through its comprehensive care programme for the elderly (Pace) programme, senior care provider Valir Pace has won the Cherry Blossom Pace.
“Our mission has always been to provide the highest quality care to the most vulnerable people in our community. We look forward to building on a strong foundation established by the Cherry Blossom Pace team,” said Joshua Kurtzig, CEO of Valir Pace in a statement.
Valir Pace purchased Cherry Blossom Pace from one Senior Care, a Pennsylvania-based pace provider. One senior care forms a referral-based partnership with a home-based care provider, providing an additional level of care to PACE participants.
Based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Valir Pace operates in 14 counties in Oklahoma. Its provision includes healthcare, home care, meals, transportation and social services.
“One Senior Care is proud of our work in the Northern Virginia community. We continue to believe in the ability of a pace program to meet the needs of our seniors,” Craig Worland, interim CEO of One Senior Care, said in a statement. “With Valir Pace's local mission, suburban footprint and vision, we are confident in our ability to lead this skilled team into an exciting new chapter.”
