Joseph A. UNEANUE LATINO Institute is excited to hold a Latin Medical Council at Besany Hall from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025. This dynamic event hosted by Bridge to Visibility is all volunteers for profits, so it collects local leaders and numbers nationwide, educating both the current and future generations. Stimulate. This conference is held to everyone and provides a unique opportunity to find a health problem that affects the Latin community through the side of various wellness.
The conference begins with a keynote speech by Juan RIOS by LCSW, an associate professor of Seton Hall University's social work. His lecture, “Empowered Wellness: Navigating a journey from vulnerability to medical release”, sets the tone of the day.
Through the event, attendees can participate in multiple sessions that cover a wide range of topics, from speech language issues to burnout syndrome, health fairness, women's health, and financial abuse faced by the Latin community.

The important highlight of the meeting is the lunch award ceremony to celebrate the amazing leaders' performance of the Latin community. Dr. Natasha Cobit, a New Jersey and Pediatric surgeon at the Southwa Stan Medical Center, will be awarded a lifetime award. This recognition is even more important because it matches the Black History Month. Dr. Corvit is the first African American pediatric surgeon who has acquired MD and Ph.D. in the United States. She led the groundbreaking research that identifies the gene that causes the biliary tract closure and created the first mouse model to imitate the state. In addition, she pioneered a non -invasive method to diagnose the infant condition. This is currently starting in national research.
Participants have more opportunities to meet this proud Afro Latina and hear more about her incredible journey during the session.
The event will also be awarded for the support of the Sumanda Parish block, the leader of the summit, with the support of the service award -winning community. Under her leadership, Grace provides significant support for 1,133 Latin and mixed Latinos, whose finance is unstable. Amanda and her dedicated teams use a stabilized service platform for 700 families every week to adjust the distribution of large -scale nutritional density and supply distribution.
The final award of the day, the Healthcare Hero Award, will be given to Dr. Rosario Zambrano, founder and provider of Morristown's Essex Pediatrics and Pediatrics. Dr. Zambrano has been recognized by AURA DUNN in an outstanding job in the Reach Out and Read program, and has given all patients a book. Dr. Zambrano, a passionate advocate of overall health care, encourages patients and their families to remove plugs, reconnect with nature, and prioritize their fulfilling time together.
