PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Local businesses held their annual toy drive Thursday night.
TLC In Home Care Service Inc. hosts a toy drive at JP Henry's on the first Thursday of December each year.
This year, TLC Office Manager Tori Dye said they brought in more than 100 toys.
The toys will be donated to three local community organizations next week.
“The toys will be donated to Children and Families Association, Family Crisis Intervention Center and Blueprint,” said Tori Dye, TLC office manager. “This is our 12th year. We honestly ask people to bring toys and we donate to those organizations. It's a good time and it's all for a good cause. I'm on my way.''
In addition to toys, the drive also accepted monetary donations that went to the same organization.
