Steve Bodily joined Duke University Health Systems as Chief Supply Chain Officer on October 1st. In his new role, Steve Bodily will direct all strategic and operational aspects of Duke University's supply chain and procurement.

Bodyly brings over 20 years of experience leading large, highly performant supply chain organizations across healthcare, higher education and global operations. Throughout her career, Bodley has focused on enabling mission success, including patient care, research and academic advancements, achieving visible results in cost optimization, operational resilience and digital transformation.

Most recently, Bodley served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at South Carolina Medical College, leading a $3 billion-wide supply chain transformation. Previous leadership roles in Bon Secours Mercy Health, Tenet Healthcare and the US Air Force have included overseeing multi-billion dollar spending portfolios, large field operations teams, and global logistics initiatives.

Duke is widely known for having a major supply chain within the healthcare industry. The operational discipline, strategic vision and ability to lead change that Bodley brings to his role as Chief Supply Chain Officer are key to taking our already well-developed and highly-performing supply chain to the next level.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Bill Trofi, who has been interim procurement and supply chain leader for over two years. Trophy's stable leadership, commitment to excellence and deep knowledge have provided an essential foundation during this transition period. Trofi will resume its role as AVP in the procurement and procurement department.

Please join us, welcome Bodley to Duke and thank Trophy for his extraordinary service.
