
Her Royal Highness, Duchess of Gloucester, visited Everfield Care Home in Ligate to officially open a new nurse.
The Duchess was received by Olivia Cruno (pictured above), CEO of Elizabeth Finn Holmes (EFH). Tom Lawson, a parent charity of Elizabeth Finn Holmes, chairman of the board and chief executive of Turn 2U.
During tours of her new extension, Her Royal Highness met Carmeralis, Clinical Care Manager at Everfield. EFH Estate Manager Anthony Burns.
The Duchess also met with staff and residents, including former nurses, Anne and Hilda, who now live in her home.
Hilda (pictured below) states: “As a former nurse who served 10 years of service, it was an absolute joy to meet her Royal Highness and be part of such a special moment in Everfield history.
“The new nurses are a reminder that caring care continues to evolve and thrive. I can witness it firsthand here as a resident.”
The Duchess has been a royal patron of Turn2U since 2003, and has visited many of the Elizabeth Fincare homes during this time.

Eversfield Care Home has been owned and operated by Elizabeth Finn Homes since 1996.
And the new wing meets the growing local demand for high quality nursing and is based on Everfield's strong reputation for housing and end-of-life care.
Each of the 16 fully en-suite bathrooms offers 24/7 nursing care and offers views of the surrounding gardens.

Also attending the opening was Brigadier General Roger Hood, assistant deputy of Surrey. Mayors and mayors of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Eddy, Sarah Humphreys. Similarly, Councillor Sue Shindong, vice mayor of Ligate and Banstead.
Staff included representatives from the delivery team, MCS Construction, DAC Architects and Dalbergia Group.
