From a survey of 570 global logistics decision makers on the Logistic Trend Map, 88% of the Pharma and Healthcare industry evaluated Internet of Things devices (IoT) as a key trend, followed by supply chain visibility (86%).
Internet of Things (IoT) devices provide real-time insights such as temperatures and locations that help maintain product quality across the supply chain. Increased visibility across more diverse supply chains allows businesses to respond proactively to disruptions and ensure products reach their destinations in time and perfection.
Geopolitical disruption is listed as the biggest challenge by sector decision makers (59%), followed by laws and regulations (49%).
