Until late Thursday morning, all patients were taken to almost 20 different facilities by ambulances, wheelchair vans or colouring services, officials said.
“Trumbull and the state towns continue to work together to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents affected by this situation,” town officials said in a statement Thursday.
Authorities do not know when the water problem will be resolved in Genesis. In a statement, DPH said the issue was due to “an ongoing inability for facilities to manage their water systems.”
