AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – An exciting opportunity is coming to the Plains for students interested in a career in the healthcare industry as Healthcare Industry Day is set for Wednesday, October 30th. The career fair will be held in the United States from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Alumni Center. Students interested in medical-related fields are encouraged to participate.

More than 20 employers and higher education institutions will participate in the event, including the Alabama Department of Health, Children's Center of Alabama, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, and Auburn's Harrison College of Pharmacy.

Healthcare Industry Day is part of Auburn's larger Healthcare Industry Week, which runs from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. The week includes events such as Monday's Healthcare Industry Panel, Tuesday's PT and OT Application Review Session, and the Doctor of Science. Therapy Open House Thursday.

Students are encouraged to dress in business professional or business casual attire, research participating organizations, and bring a copy of their resume. Career Services in the College of Science and Mathematics can assist students with resume development, and professional attire is available in the Campus Career Closet.

Students interested in participating should visit Handshake for more information, a complete list of employers, and to register.
