Ohio Health We are proud to announce our honorable Joint Committee's Sustainable Health Care accreditation and further strengthen our commitment to long-term sustainability in environmental management and healthcare. OhioHealth is the first healthcare system in Ohio to receive this certification. Climate pledge. This recognition highlights OhioHealth's ongoing commitment to integrating sustainable practices into all aspects of operation, from leadership-led initiatives to frontline staff contributions.

Sustainability is deeply embedded in Ohio Health's mission, ensuring that the healthcare system not only provides exceptional patient care, but also protects the environment for future generations. This commitment ranges to all levels of organizations, from executive leadership to people who have a direct impact every day, including patient care, environmental services teams, kitchen staff, facility management, and clinical care providers.

“Receiving this recognition from the Joint Committee is evidence of the intentional and strategic measures we have taken as an organisation to incorporate sustainability into everything we do,” he said.
