The new office will provide primary and immediate care and expand access in South Louisville

Norton Healthcare continues to fulfill its promise to expand access to healthcare by opening a new $2.2 million location at Valley Station in southwest Louisville.

The office has approximately 6,000 square feet of space and 14 exam rooms divided into the Norton Community Medical Associates Primary Care, Norton Immediate Care Center and, ultimately, Norton Orthopaedic Institute offices. The new location also has laboratory testing and x-ray features that help healthcare providers diagnose a variety of illnesses and injuries accurately.

“Norton Healthcare is committed to expanding access to healthcare across the region,” said Russell F. Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare. “The inclusive care provided in this new space makes it easier for more people to receive the care they need.”

The new space on 10798 Dixie Highway is Norton Healthcare's southernmost primary care office and an instant care center in Louisville. The building is located right next to the Genesnyder Freeway (I-265/ky 841), providing easy access to anyone using the city's highway system, and also supports population growth in the southwest of Louisville. Masu. The location also provides access to care for people outside the city's sphere, including parts of Mead and Hardin counties.

“It's extremely exciting to see this area of ​​our city grow,” said Stephanie Harmon, practice manager for the new Norton Community Medical Associates office. “As someone who grew up in the southern tip of Louisville, I know this is what we needed: being part of a team that provides care that's special.”

Primary care practices will be led by Arilennis Medel Leyva, Aprn and Family Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse bilingual experience as a clinician allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her philosophy emphasizes empathy, compassion and respect, and focuses on individual patient needs and overall care.

“Access to primary care is essential for a healthy community,” Leiva said. “I am excited to bring these services to Ballet Station. I believe my experience and expertise will increase the level of care and trust we have already built in South Louisville, and this region I'm excited to develop care and relationships with patients.”

This practice offers self-payment options and provides quick and easy access to the Norton Healthcare Financial Services team to help you pay your bills.

The Norton Children's Medical Group's pediatrician's office is open at 189 outer loops in Fairdale and is expected to expand. Call (502) 629-1234 to schedule your appointment.
