The College of Nursing officially welcomed David A. Stras Jr., Hall and David A. Stras Jr. at the beginning of the fall semester. The building undergoes radical transformation after working as the home of the Marquette business since its first construction in 1951.
The 103,000-square-foot five-storey building features a blend of commonly used classrooms, skills practice labs, healthcare simulation spaces, management offices and student study abroad areas. The learning space is designed for aggressive student learning and is equipped with flexible technology to accommodate face-to-face and hybrid learning that allows students to be integrated into the classroom.
This is the second honor of David A. Stras Jr. of Hall this month. The renovation was named by the Daily Reporter as the top project for 2024 at the 26th Annual Awards event.
