On February 13, New Jersey-based talent company ICMS released its February workforce report, which concluded that healthcare jobs were in demand at the beginning of the new year.
The amount of application in Healthcare roles rose 24% in the month of January, 9% higher than January 2024, according to a press release from ICMS.
In January, overall recruitment and application activity surged. However, employment has dropped by 5% since this period last year.
Healthcare job offers rose 25% after pulling back the opening role at the end of 2024. Healthcare jobs are also fulfilled faster. Last year we saw the lowest average time to fill in at least five years.
“As we watch the employment activity move, uncertainty remains throughout the labor market,” ICIM chief human resources officer Laura Coccalo said in a statement. “Employers are opening up more jobs and candidates are showing renewed interest, but the issues remain. HR leaders remain agile and potential shifts over the coming months. You need to prepare for recruitment trends.”
