New Adventist Health Clinics in the US to improve access to healthcare

Adventist Health Simi Valley has launched a newly designed clinic in the United States to improve healthcare accessibility in the community.

We held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the inauguration of Sycamore Primary & Specialty Care Clinic.

The event was attended by members of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, local city officials, Adventist Health Simi Valley executives, and doctors from the Adventist Health Medical Group.

The facility fuses two previous clinics into a single location, providing extended access to specialty and primary care services.

Located in Simi Valley, California, the clinic offers increased opening hours and provides patients with increased flexibility.

“It is no coincidence that Adventist Health Simi Valley has been a reliable community resource for 60 years. We are continually evolving to meet the needs of our neighbors,” said Alisuisai, president of Adventist Health Simi Valley.

“With this new clinic, we are taking an important step towards ensuring that all patients receive timely, coordinated and caring care.”

The clinic's design was informed by a six-month joint process involving both doctors and staff from the previous clinic, culminating in a space that reduced waiting times, promoted patient flow and improved coordination of care.

Issai added: “The clinic represents our continued commitment to keeping healthcare local and efficient and patient-centric.”

Simi Valley, an Adventist Health 136-bed acute care hospital founded in 1965, serves the Ventura County area, including Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Moore Park and West San Fernando Valley in the United States.

The hospital and its five clinics offer a range of medical services, including robotic surgery, heart disease, neurology and stroke care, focusing on patient safety.

In February 2024, Adventist Health signed a decisive agreement on the acquisition of two TENET Healthcare hospitals and related businesses in San Luis Obispo County.

At the same time, Tenet's Conifer Health Solutions subsidiary will provide revenue cycle services to Adventist Health.

“New Clinics for Adventist Health in the US to Improve Healthcare Access” was first created and published by Hospital Management, a globalData-owned brand.
