Emory Healthcare Network is the country's first clinically integrated network, including MinuteClinic as the primary care provider within the network

Atlanta, February 21, 2025 – The clinics within Minuteclinic®, Select CVSPharmacy® (NYSE: CVS) locations, and the Emory Healthcare Network, the most comprehensive clinically integrated network in Georgia, is now available for the network's adult primary care. We are working with the network to provide you with the most health insurance plan holders, and are in every small location in Georgia.

With expanded services, it will help more Georgians improve health outcomes by increasing access to primary care options. Research shows that individuals with regular primary care physicians experience a 33% reduction in medical costs and a 19% lower chance of early death compared to those who only look at experts.

With a 35-minute separation location in Georgia, patients will continue to benefit from same-day access, evening and weekend times, and virtual care options. Coordination of care is facilitated through interoperable electronic health records, allowing seamless communication and consultation between Minute Rinic Providers and Emory Clinicians.

“Due to a lack of primary care physicians and services in Georgia, Minuteclinic's primary care expansion will work with the Emory Healthcare Network to provide additional options for primary and preventive care across a large community. We provide it,” MD says. CEO of Emory Healthcare, Georgia's most comprehensive academic health system. “We continue to look for meaningful ways to broaden access to care in our state.”

MinuteClinic Primary Care patients also have access to the broad range of Emory Healthcare Network resources, including hospitals, specialists, diagnostic and radiology facilities, and specialized labs, allowing patients to receive additional care when needed.

“We're looking forward to seeing you in the process of exploring the world,” said Patrick Hammond, CEO of Emory Healthcare Network. “More Georgians will have access to the care they need for abundant services and coordinated care through most of the health insurance plans we support.”

Since 2011, MinuteClinic and Emory have worked together to provide walk-in adult wellness exams and physical and illness visits at various MinuteClinic locations. Minuteclinic Nurse Practitioners and other advanced practice providers staff clinics and Emory Physians serve as supportive doctors at this location.

Currently, MinuteClinic is expanding to primary care, introducing new training and care flows to MinuteClinic Advanced Practice Providers, including nurses and physician assistants, to manage end-to-end care with a focus on prevention. It's there. This includes regular scheduled health maintenance visits, recommended screenings, and addressing existing chronic conditions.

“MinuteClinic paved the way for retail clinics over 20 years ago. To meet the needs of the communities we serve, we will continue to expand our MinuteClinic model. President of Retail Health, CVSHealth® Creagh Milford, who is a key step in the primary care journey in Georgia's Emory Healthcare Network as a primary care provider within the network. As our first primary care-specific collaboration with our network, we are excited to see the positive impact this has on patient care and community health.”

With this expansion, MinuteClinic offers the company's commitment to providing convenient, accessible, affordable, consumer-centric care.
