Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore has declared that his anger at the medical industry is justified and he wants to fuel it in his new post.
Moore wrote on the Substack page on Friday that while he does not condone murder, public anger toward the industry should be amplified following the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He claimed that.
“That anger is 1000% justified. It's long overdue for the media to pick it up. It's not new. It keeps boiling over. And I don't want to quell it or tell people to shut up. I'm not asking for it. I want to pour gasoline on that anger,” he said. We also included a free upload to YouTube of “Sicko,” a 2007 documentary about the U.S. pharmaceutical and health insurance industries.
“These insurance companies and their executives have shed more blood than 1,000 terrorists on 9/11,” he added. “That's why they're removing executives' profiles from their websites and putting up fences around their headquarters.”

Mr. Moore's words came nearly a week after Luigi Mangione, a Maryland resident and Ivy League graduate, was arrested and charged with killing Mr. Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel.
The shooting sparked a wave of condemnation and fear over the killings, but also celebrations from some sympathizers of Americans who see them as victims of the nation's health care system.
Mr. Moore's article indicated that he was in the latter camp.
“In the manifesto, he mentions how I have 'exposed corruption and greed' and that people have turned to me to understand the complexities within the current system, and the abuses of power.” insinuating that he should go to work for the company,” Moore wrote. He is constantly asked whether he condemns Thompson's murder because he is mentioned in the suspect's manifesto.
United Healthcare CEO How does a gunman's weapon work against him and in favor of police?
“Hmm. Do I condemn murder? That's a strange question,” he wrote. “On Fahrenheit 9/11, I condemned the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis and the senseless killing of American soldiers at the hands of the American government.”
He added, “During my 35 years as a film director, have I said or done anything that condoned murder?''
But Moore chose to focus his blame on health care companies, saying, “Here's a sad statistic for you: A whopping 1.4 million people in the United States work in jobs that deny health care.'' , there are only 1 million physicians in the United States.” The whole country! ”

Moore wrote that he supports the anger people have shown toward health care companies after Thompson's death.
“Yes, I condemn murder. And that's why I condemn America's broken, sneaky, greedy, bloodthirsty, unethical and immoral medical industry. And that I blame all the CEOs responsible,” he declared.
