Lockton, the world's largest independent insurance broker, announced today that Ethan Crain and Rebecca Cady have joined the company to jointly lead national health practices. These additions highlight that Lockton is continuing to invest in industry specialization and contributes to serving the healthcare industry.

Based on a strong foundation of healthcare risk management and insurance, the addition of Ethan and Rebecca will greatly deepen Lockton's commitment to the healthcare industry. As Lockton helps clients navigate the rapidly evolving challenges, they bring rich knowledge and a deep understanding of complex healthcare risks and guide their practices. Their leadership not only leverages existing healthcare talent and strengths, but also drives enterprise strategies to comprehensively meet the evolution and complex needs of healthcare organizations through investment, resource coordination, innovation and tailored solutions.

“The rapidly evolving regulations, threats to federal funding and reimbursement, uncertainty about the supply chain, and the challenges of the ongoing workforce threaten the ability of healthcare organizations to deliver consistent, high quality care.” “Ethan and Rebecca's expertise position us to address the multifaceted challenges facing healthcare today. A focus on improving capabilities will put Lockton at the forefront of advice on industry trends, helping clients manage risks and deliver better results consistent with a rapidly changing environment.”

Ethan Crane joined Rockton from Marsh and most recently served as managing director of healthcare practices in the Northeast. He has worked with healthcare clients and top broker teams for over 25 years, providing solutions to meet complex insurance needs across all risk areas of the healthcare industry. He is a multi-year risk & insurance power broker winner and is on the board of directors of the Schwartz Center for caring health care.

Rebecca Cady joined Lockton as a highly skilled healthcare legal and risk management expert. She recently served as Chief Risk Officer at Children's Hospital and previously had a prominent legal career at Grace Hollis Lowe Hanson & Schaefer. Rebecca is a former president of the American Association for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) and is recognized as a female business insurance to watch, ASHRM Risk Manager of the Year, Risk and Insurance All-Star, and RIMS Risk Manager of the Year.

“Lockton is always dedicated to serving the healthcare industry,” Ethan said. “Healthcare organizations today are being asked to do less and less. I look forward to building on a deep bench of talent in the healthcare industry and continuing to help our clients solve key challenges.”

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring client voice to the industry. Lockton's personal ownership, commitment to client services and a culture of empowerment can provide special solutions to healthcare organizations,” Rebecca said.

Ethan is based in Boston, Rebecca is based in Washington, and DC reports both to Chris Diallo.
