Stamp will lead the planning and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise digital ecosystem with key areas of responsibility including core IT and digital capabilities, cyber security and risk, data privacy and governance, application portfolio management, data democratization, digital experience, data and analytics, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. He will also help define the health system’s five-year strategic direction and execute the IT and digital aspects of that plan.
“We are pleased to appoint Lisa Stamp as our new chief digital and information officer,” Brendan Carr, MD, MS, MSN, CEO of the Mount Sinai Health System, said in a statement. “Lisa’s deep expertise in informatics in clinical and academic environments, along with our incredible clinical, research and education leaders, will propel Mount Sinai to the forefront of digital innovation.”
Mr. Stamp joined Yale in 1996 and has held multiple roles including Director of Pharmacy, Managing Director of Clinical Informatics and Vice President of Epic Projects where he integrated multiple electronic medical record and revenue cycle platforms. Mr. Stamp also spearheaded the integration of multiple technology platforms in enterprise resource planning, bed management, radiology information, infection control, laboratory information and blood banking, led the pilot and launch of the InSight Tele-ICU platform and launched multiple innovation partnerships with technology and application vendors.
