Renato de Leon, executive director of the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre (ANRC), a nonprofit Jamaica Plain, was recently sworn in as a member of Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator on April 2nd.

Ren's leadership, vision and insights have been invaluable in guiding ANRC residents and staff. Clearly, his intuitive understanding of long-term care is a huge asset to our organization.”
De Leon brings 25 years of experience in hospitality and advanced living sectors to ANRC.
The Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrators Committee consists of 11 members appointed by the Secretary of Public Health or its nominees, the Secretary of Public Welfare or his nominees, the Secretary of Elders or his nominees, and the Governor of Massachusetts. This board works to protect the health and safety of nursing home residents and ensures that nursing home managers are competent and properly carry out their responsibilities.
De Leon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst University. He is a licensed Massachusetts nursing home administrator and is a certified Lean Principle.
The Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre is a nonprofit nursing and rehabilitation centre based in Plain, Jamaica, and has served elders locally and internationally for over 100 years, owned by the Armenian Women's Welfare Association (AWWA).
