Joe Rogan has spoken out against the healthcare industry, calling it a “dirty business” following the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
On Tuesday's podcast, Rogan spoke with director Quentin Tarantino and producer Roger Avary, and at one point the three turned the conversation to Thompson murder suspect Luigi Mangione.
Logan said he believes Mangione was not a professional assassin, but rather someone who may have been at odds with the medical community. Logan also said UnitedHealthcare is “very bad at denying claims.”
Mr. Logan and Mr. Avary noted that there are many claims that are denied by health insurance companies.
“I don't think anyone would cry too hard about (Thompson),” Avary said.
“It may be family, but that's it,” Logan replied, adding, “It's a dirty, dirty business. The insurance business is shit. It's shit. Especially medical insurance, it's shit. It's shit.” gross. “
