By bringing her into the design process, she coordinated the algorithms and workflows together, resulting in adoption and faster confidence in the system. Sensual teams are not an option. It's mission critical.
4. Continuous learning
Once deployed, AI needs to evolve. Monitor model drift, feedback loops, and unintended bias. Think of it as a digital creature, not a static tool. To support transparency and auditability, tools such as Google's what-if tool allow teams to test how changes in input data affect forecasts, helping to uncover potential biases before deployment. In reality, this means setting up dashboard monitoring, retraining cycles and governance reviews. In one project, drift was detected within six months as prescription patterns shifted after covid. By retraining quickly, we avoided inaccurate prioritization that could derail trust in the system.
