HCAP Partners announced on Tuesday that it had successfully concluded its investment in Arosa.
The private equity company helped expand from regional providers in 13 states, including the new location in Kansas City, to 38 locations in 13 states that serve residents of Kansas and Missouri.
“HCAP supported Arosa at a pivotal moment in 2018, helping to shape care management and home care from coast to coast,” Arosa CEO Arimedov told Home Health Care News.
Hope Mago, a partner at HCAP Partners, told HHCN about Medoff's vision to provide a differentiated level of caregivers for caregivers in line with HCAP's mission and creating a quality work environment for caregivers.
“We focus not only on providing access to patient outcomes and care, but also on creating quality job environments through a framework called The Gainful Jobs approach,” he said.
HCAP's Gainful Jobs Approach focuses on increasing compensation, benefits and workplace support. This helps increase employee retention and client and employee satisfaction scores.
San Diego-based HCAP Partners offers mezzanine debt and private equity to low- and medium-term market companies across the United States. Since its establishment, the company has invested in over 65 companies.
“From the start, HCAP and Arosa shared a deep commitment to improving the quality of work in an industry that urgently needs this focus and continues to require it,” Medoff said. “Arosa continues to grow and as HCAP advances its mission to procure and deploy impact capital, this marks the conclusion of this stage of natural inflection points and partnership.”
According to Medoff, Arosa continues to build innovative models of care for the elderly, improving the quality of the work of the professionals who provide this care.
“The relationship was great,” Mago said. “Our investment thesis followed a natural cycle of about five to six years, then planned an exit and everything went as expected. If there is another opportunity to work with ants and teams, we will definitely consider that. The elderly deserve dignified care.
