Frontline Healthcare Partners acquires Integracare
Private equity firm Frontline Healthcare Partners has acquired home health care provider IntegraCare.
Following the acquisition, IntegraCare, based in Toronto, Ont., plans to expand into the United States, IntegraCare President and CEO Lee Grunberg told Home Health Care News.
“IntegraCare has successfully completed and integrated four acquisitions over the past several years and is now one of Canada's largest privately owned, paid home care companies,” Grunberg said in an email. “We want to continue to expand through acquisitions in both Canada and the United States. Seniors living in Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, or other cities in North America have similar preferences. The majority of seniors want to age at home, maintain their independence, and experience an enjoyable life.”
IntegraCare provides home services including assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), companionship, registered practical nursing care, palliative care, and wound care throughout Ottawa, Canada.
The deal marks Charleston, South Carolina-based Frontline's sixth portfolio company investment. The company's portfolio also includes outpatient infusion company Livewell Infusions and companies focused on behavioral health.
Grunberg's top priorities for the coming year are to expand through acquisitions, enhance home care services, improve operational efficiency and introduce new technology to create new recurring revenue models, he told HHCN.
