Nashville is known as Music City and is a showcase for the great country artists he has lived in.
Many of the major healthcare voices are coming to Nashville for Vive, the annual digital health conference, which will be held from February 16th to 19th.
More than 8,000 healthcare leaders will be taking part in the four-day event in Nashville. It's not just the vast number attended. According to organizers, more than a quarter of those coming, along with many other top executives, come from C-Suite.
Vive is co-produced by Chime and HLTH, and will also be hosting a major annual health conference in the fall.
Vive is aimed at hospitals, health systems, payers, and the companies that support them. The event features over 300 speakers, covering topics across the healthcare industry.
With more healthcare companies using AI, expect to put a critical focus on artificial intelligence, which is likely to become the dominant theme.
Cybersecurity is also a major topic. Over the past year, hundreds of cyberattacks have been reported in healthcare. Other topics include data privacy, interoperability, health equity, and the impact of new policies from Washington.
The event will also have several sessions entitled “nod to Host City of Nashville and reflect big songs and artists.”
Vive aims to be a little fun, but organizers say they are helping healthcare leaders get into business. And Vive is clearly becoming a big event on the healthcare calendar.
Rich Scarfo, president of HLTH, told Chief Healthcare Executive® that participants can expect timely and engaging meetings on emergency questions in the healthcare industry.
“The way we create events is very, very purposeful,” says Scarfo.
“We wanted to have the most relevant topics and speakers,” he says. “We leaned on everything we could when attendees came there, these weren't recycled and presentations we might have seen at another event.”
