Paris Lockhart, 31, of Harrisburg, was a certified nursing assistant at the Camp Hill facility at the time of the alleged April 2024 incident, police said.

Camp Hill, Pa. — Cumberland County police have filed charges against staff members at nursing homes and rehabilitation centers while they were drunk.

Paris Asia Lockhart, 31, of Harrisburg, is certified at West Shore Gardens, East Pennsboro Township, Pennsboro Township, at the time of the alleged incident that police allegedly occurred on April 30, 2024. I worked as a nursing assistant.

East Pennsboro Township Police filed charges against her on February 13th after completing the investigation, according to the criminal charge affidavit.

Police were dispatched to a nursing home in the 700 block of Poplar Church Road in Camp Hill around 6:06pm after facility staff suspected Lockhart was drunk while they were working.

The arrest officer said Lockhart's speech was obscure and cautious, and detected an odor of alcohol in her breath. She initially denied having anything that day, but eventually became “very emotional” and began crying, admitting that she consumed a shot of vodka, according to the complaint.

Lockhart told police he could consume the bottle himself, the complaint said.

According to the complaint, Lockhart supervisors and several other employees provided police with written statements about alleged addiction at work.

With her position as a CNA and the responsibility to care for people who are addicted to care, and her level of addiction, Lockhart neglects people who are care-dependent, recklessly puts others at risk, disorderly conduct and public conduct He was accused of being a drunkard. Complaint.

The fee was issued as a subpoena. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9th, court records show.
