Spring Valley (WQOW) – Two women from Spring Valley find themselves living as neighbors again decades after their first meeting.
Betty and Silva have known each other since they were 14 years old and now live in the next room. “She first moved in. I came in about a week later,” Betty said.

Their friendship began when they were girls on a farm that lived next door. The two were always close-knit about 18 news. They were always doing something together.
Even during the summer holidays, they remained connected. “We wrote letters to each other during our summer holidays. She always chose strawberries,” recalls Betty. “I remember once she told me she left a basket on the field… she forgot to incorporate it.”
Now, over 100 years ago, their bond remains strong. “When I'm at this age, I don't know what's going on one day,” Betty said.
But one thing is certain: you can always count on your neighbors.
