Michael Tartt replaces Corey Hess, who announced plans to step down last month.
HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) — Cape Fear Valley Healthcare has named Harnett the new president of Cape Fear Valley Healthcare.
The organization announced Friday that Michael Tartt, president of Highsmith-Raney Specialty Hospital, will replace Corey Hess. Hess announced last month that he plans to step down at the end of December.
Tartt, a Harnett County native, has worked at Cape Fear Valley Health for the past 10 years. He took up his current position in 2023. He has served as Vice President of Ambulatory Services. Executive Director of Cape Fear Valley Medical Group. Finance Director for Outpatient Services.
Tartt attended East Carolina University and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration with an emphasis in healthcare management.
