She could go home.

She is one of nine survivors of the Apalachee High School shooting.

The bullet hit her in the shoulder.

His mother, Jakelyn Garcia, told Channel 2’s Courtney Francisco on Friday that he underwent surgery to close the wound and doctors believe the bones are aligned enough to heal naturally.

She is 15 years old.

“She’s a normal teenager who loves spending time with her friends, playing soccer and spending time with her family, and none of those hobbies are going to be the same as they were before,” Hannah Nemeth said.

Nemeth has organized an online fundraiser to help the family’s recovery.

Thirteen people were shot in the deadly attack, leaving four dead, two of whom were students and two were teachers. Of the nine survivors, eight were students and one was a teacher.
