Pocopson Home, a long-term care facility in Chester County, was recently named to Newsweek and Statista's list of America's Best Nursing Homes 2025. The ranking lists the nation's top nursing homes in the 25 states with the most facilities, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
According to Newsweek and Statista rankings, Pocopson Home is one of the top 1,050 nursing homes (top 7%) out of approximately 14,858 nursing homes analyzed.
Chester County Commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marian Moskowitz and Eric Roe said in a joint statement: Short-term rehabilitation services.
“Everyone who works at Pocopson, from the cleaning and maintenance staff to the nurses and nursing assistants, has contributed to this accomplishment, and we are extremely grateful for their service and dedication. The Pocopson Home management team, led by Administrator McKenna, is also recognized.
Pocopson Home provides 24-hour long-term nursing care and short-term rehabilitation services for those admitted to the hospital who require inpatient physical therapy for recovery. Pocopson Home also provides respite and hospice care in long-term care settings.
