Many nursing homes in Iowa aren’t following the rules.
Host Jim Needelman will be talking about this issue with former Scott County Democratic Party Chair Elesha Gayman and former Rock Island County Republican Party Chair Bill Bloom.
“I think it’s a good thing the auditor general is looking at this,” Bloom said. “It’s always good to have another set of eyes looking at an important process like how well our seniors are being cared for.”
“With an aging population, if we’re having problems now, we’re going to have problems in the near future and into the future,” Gaiman said. “I think this should definitely be a top priority.”
