With a market capitalization of $84.8 billion, Cigna Group (CI) is a global health company with two growth platforms: Evernorth Health Services and Cigna Healthcare. The Bloomfield, Connecticut-based company offers insurance and related products and services.
Companies worth more than $10 billion are generally classified as “large” stocks, and Cigna Group meets this standard perfectly. CI maintains sales capabilities across more than 30 markets and jurisdictions, and has around 182 million customer relationships worldwide that provide solutions to diverse challenges across the healthcare system.

Multinational insurance companies fell 16.4% from 52 weeks at 370.83. Over the past three months, Cigna Group Stock has fallen 3.9%, falling 3% over the same time frame, lagging behind the ISHARES Global Healthcare ETF (IXJ).

Over the past 52 weeks, Cigna Group shares have slipped 6.9%, while IXJ has skyrocketed 3.2% over the same period. However, CI scored 12.2% on a YTD basis, exceeding IXJ's 9.6% increase.
The CI has been below the 200-day moving average due to recent fluctuations since October last year.

Despite failing to meet Wall Street's forecast on January 30th, CI's stock rose 3.9% the following day due to adjusted earnings. Additionally, the company has increased its quarterly cash dividend by 8% since fiscal year 2025 to $1.51, boosting investors' confidence.
Furthermore, its rival, Elevance Health, Inc. (ELV) performed weaker than CI. ELV stocks rose 7.7% on a YTD basis. However, ELV has soaked 20.2% over the past 52 weeks, falling behind the CI.
The CI's strong price action on a YTD basis remains bullish on its outlook. Of the 22 analysts covering stocks, there is a consensus rating of “strong buy” and is currently below the average price target of $365.24.
