Caremaker, which promotes digital transformation in home nursing and care, has announced that it has raised 100 million yen through third-party allocations to Quantum Leap Ventures and Daiwa House Group Growth Fund through share allocations in the fifth party . They will enhance the capabilities and accelerate business expansion of their home nursing/care SaaS solution, Caremaker, to support treatment in an environment that is close to them.

With the aim of addressing the expected rapid aging and shortage of care workers between 2025 and 2040, the company will leverage the field knowledge gained by operating the “Krum” nursing station. We have used the industry-specific SaaS solution “Caremaker”.

Caremaker is an AI-powered home nursing and care schedule management service. It provides automatic schedule assignment, route optimization, suggest candidates that meet your criteria, and prevent reduction alerts. Reduction alert systems particularly improve operational accuracy by detecting issues such as multiple unadjusted staff accompaniment accompaniment and pre-replicating user registrations.

In the case of implementation, CareMaker achieved approximately 75% work time reduction through its Scheduled DX initiative at Hotaru's Midori Home Nursing Station in Generous, which operates multiple features and locations. At Agape Group's Wakamatsu Home Nursing Station, the creation time has been halved and overtime hours have been reduced since moving from Excel.

In May 2024, Caremaker expanded its home nursing/care schedule management cloud functionality and released the automatic shift creation feature (beta version).

This feature not only allows you to access schedules, but also automatically create work shifts, streamlining indirect operations and focusing on core care. This system automatically generates excellent work shifts for staff, and detects schedule conflicts and staff shortage risks ahead of time. Integrated visit scheduling and shift creation capabilities allow for unified management of care plans and work shifts.

With this funding, we will advance feature development incorporating the expertise of the “Kurumu” Home Nursing Station, ahead of the full update of Caremaker on April 1st. They aim to improve industry-wide efficiency and quality of care through optimising visit schedules and enhancing team collaboration, but also strengthening the real-world model centered on the “Kurumu” home nursing station. , further integrating real and digital operations.
